Adult Fellowship

In Fellowship we celebrate together, God’s love in Jesus Christ. Whether we are getting together to cheer on the Reds, talk over coffee, get some exercise, or play cards, we are affirming our relationship as the Body of Christ.

Each year Lord of Life hosts a family picnic with games and activities for all ages as well as lots of yummy food! It is a great time for the whole congregation to gather together.  Mark your calendar for August 19, 2018 for next year's 'fest!

Gather in the narthex Sunday mornings and enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa and fellowship with those attending worship. Help is always appreciated with this ministry area.

Enjoy some friendly competition and stay fit while playing softball with others from Lord of Life. It is a great way to get to know others and have fun in the sun.

The Secret Pals are a group of ladies who give gifts to their secret pal on holidays and special occasions throughout the year. They meet each February at a luncheon to reveal the past years secret pal and to pick their secret pal for the next year. New members are encouraged to join them in February.

    Monday, July 23

    in the Sanctuary

Come take a break from the summer heat and enjoy some cool tunes! The Swingin' Saints Big Band will perform a free concert here at Lord of Life. Originally a part of the music ministry here at Lord of Life almost 20 years ago, the Swingin' Saints have evolved into a community group of amateur musicians. They come together in the summer to play music from the big band era at local retirement communities and churches. The band includes musicians of all skill levels and ages, having had members as young as 12 and as old as 89! We look forward to welcoming them back for some great summer fun.

Join guests from Stepping Forward after dinner on Tuesday, July 31 to harvest from our garden. Anyone in need of fresh vegetables is welcome to come and pick some to take home.  We also need helpers to pick for those who aren't able to do their own picking, and guides to point out the vegetables and fruits. We hope to have watermelons and cantaloupes ready to pick, along with beans, squash, and so much more!
