The Care Ministry area provides support and assistance to our members when in need.

Caring for one another is essential to fulfilling our call to love of as Jesus loves. Stephen Ministry is one of the ways we respond to those in need. This ministry provides high quality, confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals facing a variety of crises or life challenges – such as grief, divorce, cancer, financial difficulties, hospitalization, chronic illness, job loss, disabilities, loneliness, a spiritual crisis, or other life struggles.

Stephen Ministry connects care givers to care receivers and extends the caregiving capacity here at Lord of Life. Through extensive training, congregation members are equipped to become Stephen Ministers, who then give care, build meaningful relationships, and grow the spiritual life of the church.

If you feel you would benefit from a Stephen Minister, or are interested in becoming part of this caring ministry, please contact a member of the pastoral staff.

This ministry recognizes our new Teen Drivers. It provides each new driver with a care package of items a new driver might find helpful. It is one way to show we are proud of them and to remind them of our love.

E-Prayers are prayers sent to the congregation via e-mail. A printed list of prayers is also in the Announcements each weekend. Everyone is welcome to join the eprayer list and contribute a prayer!

A wonderful group of volunteers who can fix and deliver a meal, provide a ride to the doctor’s office or come by and help you with a letter. This group will also provide a bereavement dinner or deliver a light snack to the grieving families.
