Grades 9-12

The goal of our Sr. High youth program is to help our youth grow and teach them how to apply Faith in Action as disciples of Christ as they become more independent and experience new challenges in life. The Christian education portion of the program occurs mainly during Sunday School. The group meets Sundays at 9:30 a.m. except for the retreat weekend October 16th and other Sundays as noted on page 5.

It is also our goal to help create a community where teens can be valued and are free from the fear of peer pressure and rejection. We practice this community through fellowship events. We also provide opportunities to recognize and respond to the gifts God has blessed them with through service opportunities:

• The church: We encourage youth to serve in the different ministry areas like worship, music, and outreach
• The community: We coordinate Bingo on the 3rd Sunday of each month for the patients and parents at Ronald McDonald House
• The world at large: Serving and learning through our mission & adventure trips
