Lord of Life is a vibrant and growing congregation whose worship life, learning moments, and serving opportunities are open to all people. We started as a mission congregation in 1988, and have since expanded into a multi-generational congregation that serves as a mission center for Northern Cincinnati.

Together, we hope to live, share, and celebrate with all people, God’s love in Jesus Christ. How do we do that? We offer a variety of worship opportunities each week, coupled with all kinds of serving and learning moments. These help us grow into being the body of Christ in the world. We love deeply. We share generously. We take hospitality seriously.

If you are looking for a place to put down spiritual roots, I invite you to come and explore a life of faith with us here at Lord of Life.

  • VEIL Summer Reading Program

     summer reading

    Wednesdays, 10 am - 2 pm
    Sundays, 2 pm - 4 pm
    through August 5
    in the Fellowship Hall

The summer reading program provides an opportunity for students to keep their skills sharp over the summer as well as providing enrichment in a topic. Research established that, without enrichment, during the summer months, children lose 50% - 85% of what they learned the previous academic year. This summer’s theme is the Human Body! The lessons will be introduced on Wednesdays. Sundays will provide an enrichment lesson. Please consider volunteering during the summer. Are all welcome, including high school and college students. No Spanish required. Join us as you are able.

The program includes lunch on Wednesdays. We also need volunteers to host the Wednesday lunches. Can you provide lunch for the children on Wednesdays? You can sign up online to provide lunch.

  • VEIL Ministry Needs

Summer is a difficult time for many of the VEIL families. As VEIL Programming continues throughout the summer, VEIL will continue to need healthy snacks. Would you help us stock our shelves with some staples?

    - applesauce

    - healthy granola bars

    - goldfish crackers

    - pretzel

    - 100% juice boxes/pouches

Please place your items in the VEIL Office.

A very easy way to help support VEIL: If you shop at Kroger, please sign up with their Community Rewards program & choose VEIL as the group you’d like to support. Our number is 29572. A percentage of all that you spend at Kroger is given to the mission church. Last quarter, VEIL received almost $100 from this program. Please consider signing up.
