Come prepare and serve a hot meal to neighbors who need one. All you need are willing hands and a willing heart; volunteers of all ages and abilities can participate. No sign-up or RSVP is needed.
What is Stepping Forward? It's a ministry of the Faith Alliance, providing a weekly community meal and enrichment opportunity that equips low-income families with the skills, knowledge, and nourishment they need to take the next step forward in life. Hosted at Faith Community Methodist Church, West Chester, Lord of Life takes our turn on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Food donations are also needed. They can be dropped off at the church on Sunday mornings or during office hours. If you have perishables and cannot drop them off during office hours, please be in touch with the church office (
